Your Organization

Your organization is the group which purchased and is using Vol-Track. The first time Vol-Track is launched, the setup wizard will load and request information about your organization. This information is used to establish some key information within Vol-Track.

Creating

A group must be setup within Vol-Track. Therefore the first time Vol-Track is run the setup wizard will load and ask for your organization's information. This will create your group within Vol-Track.

When the wizard is presented, it will ask for information about your organization (the group). This includes the name, address, and core contact information. The name of the group is the only value required.

After entering all of the required and desired information, the Finish button (Finish will be disabled if the security module is installed) may be pressed. Once Finish is pressed, the group account is created.

Updating

If at any point your organization's information changes, the group information may be modified. To make modifications to the group information, open the Edit -> Preferences menu item.

In the preference dialog select the Group label on the left side. This will display the group information page. Use this page to make any desired modifications. The group name is the only value required.

After making any modifications, select OK to store them and close the dialog. If you do not want to close the dialog but do want to save the changes made, select Apply.

If at any point before pressing OK or Apply, you choose not keep the changes, you may press Cancel to close the dialog without storing any of the changes. If you just want to revert to the original without closing the dialog, then select Restore Defaults.
