Integrated Help System

Vol-Track comes complete with a built-in help system. The help system is comprised of two key areas:

• Help Content – This document.
• Contextual Help – Help built into areas of Vol-Track.

Help Content

The help content is this documentation built into Vol-Track. This documentation can be accessed using the Help -> Help Content menu or the help icon within the toolbar.

The help area is broken into two main areas. Down the left side is a collection of books (resources). Each book may be expanded to display a list of high level chapters. The chapters can then be broken down into subchapters.

This method allows a user to quickly locate the desired information. In cases where the information can not be found this way, a search capability is provided.

Clicking on any of the topic areas will expand them to show the subchapters. The main area will display the help information provided for the selected topic.

Contextual Help

Contextual help is not yet integrated into the system, therefore the documentation has not yet been developed.
