To access the report viewer, a report must be generated. To generate a report, the Report List is used. See the Report List for details on generating a report.
Once the report is open in the Report Viewer, a few actions may be taken.
Save Report
Saving a report will allow the report to be stored in Adobe PDF format. To initiate the save action the File -> Save As... option can be selected or Control-Shift-S. This opens the Save As dialog.
![]()
The dialog will allow the selection of the directory to store the file. After navigating to the location to store the file, the text box below allows the name to save the file to be entered. Enter the name and then press Save. The dialog will close and the file will be saved in the location specified with the given name.
Print Report
Printing a report will cause the generated report to be sent to the printer. To print a report, select File -> Print or press Control-P to initiate the print.
When printing is selected, a dialog will appear to set the configuration of the printer. This will depend upon the printer being used. After selecting the options and pressing OK (this button text will vary based upon the printer being used) the report will be printed.
Note: To print reports a third party product called GhostScript is required. During the installation of Vol-Track, the installer asked if GhostScript should be installed. If it was not, it must be installed prior to printing any reports. If you did not install it during the install process, it can be installed by going to the install location of Vol-Track and executing the file 'gs857w32.exe'.Close Report
The report may be closed by clicking the X in the title tab where the report name is displayed.
