The Report List is a view that shows a complete list of the reports currently available within Vol-Track.

The Report List view is designed to support the ability to generate reports using information contained within Vol-Track.

By default the Report List will be displayed on the bottom left side of the workbench. If it has been closed or is not open select the menu: Windows -> Report List

Now that the Report List is visible, it may be used to generate reports.

The Report List view is a sorted list of reports. The top bar of the window contains a button to initiate report generation as well as a menu. A context menu (A menu that appears when right clicking on the Report List area) is also provided.

As mentioned, the list view allows the generation of any one of the reports. By default when nothing is selected, the Generate Report action (menu, context menu, and toolbar buttons) will be disabled (grayed out). Select a report by clicking (single click) on the report name. The action will now be enabled. To generate a report use the following steps:

1. Single click on the report name to be generated.
2. Perform one of the following:
1. Click the button.
2. Select the view's menu -> Open Report.
3. Right click and select Open Report.
4. Press the Enter key.
5. Double click on the report name.
3. If information is required to generate the report, a dialog will appear asking for input. The fields on the dialog are targeted to the report being generated.
   

1. Fill out the dialog with the required information.
2. Press OK.
4. The report will begin generating and the editor area will open the display showing the generated report.
