View : Signoff List

The Signoff List view shows a complete list of the volunteering hours that have not yet been approved.

The Signoff List view is designed to support the ability to allow certain users (Administrators and Volunteer Coordinators) to approve (signoff) the reported hours. If the user is not privileged (Security Module only) then the view will be disabled (grayed out).

By default, the Signoff List will be displayed on the bottom right side of the workbench. If it has been closed or is not open select the menu: Windows -> Signoff List.

The Signoff List should now be visible.

The Signoff List view will display all the volunteering hours that have not yet been approved. If all have been approved then the list will be empty. The top bar of the window contains buttons as well as a menu to interact with the items listed. A context menu (A menu that appears when right clicking on the Signoff List area) is also provided.

As mentioned, the list view allows volunteering hours to be approved. By default, when nothing is selected, the approve action (menu, context menu, and toolbar buttons) will be disabled (grayed out). Checking the checkbox next to any record will enable these buttons.

Note: For the Vol-Track 2.0 release this list is not automatically updated with the database. Therefore it can become out of sync if other users have recorded and submitted new hours.

Therefore the Refresh button () should be pushed before starting any approval actions.

To approve volunteering hours perform the following steps:

  1. Press the refresh button.
  2. In the left-most column, single click in the checkbox. The checkbox will place a check mark in the box. Clicking a second time will uncheck the item.
  3. Repeat step 2 for each record to be approved.
  4. Press the Approve button.
  5. The records are now approved and will disappear from the view.
