What Is Vol-Track

Vol-Track is designed to aid non-profit organizations in managing various key areas: volunteers, finances, and events.

Vol-Track can support just one of these areas or all of them, depending on the needs of an organization. It is designed to allow smaller, focused pieces to be added together to build the system required by the organization.

Depending on the organization's needs, they may be interested in one or more of the following modules:

• Volunteering – This module aids an organization in managing their volunteering resources to allow the tracking of hours and the organizations volunteers are donating their time to.
• Fundraising (Future) – This module helps a non-profit organization manage fundraising.
• Event Management (Future) – This module helps an organization plan and manage events.

These foundation pieces provide a core set of capabilities focused on a specific area. These areas can be merged together or used independently. The Vol-Track system also provides a method to extend these foundations to accommodate additional needs of the non-profit organization. Below is a quick list of some of the packages that can be leveraged to extend it:

• Security – This module adds user management, roles, and log-in capabilities.
• Multi-System (Future) – This module enables the foundations to support multiple user interfaces being run across a network.
• Scheduler (Future) – This module adds the ability to schedule resources and track items on a calendar.

Because of the expandability of the Vol-Track system, it can accommodate an infinite number of possibilities.
