Wizard : Create Volunteer
Volunteers are the resources who make up the Group. A wizard has been added to
create new Volunteers.
To begin, select one of the following:
- Menu bar: Volunteers -> Add Volunteer
- Toolbar:

Selecting one of these commands will open the Create Volunteer wizard.
To setup a new volunteer, perform the following steps:
- Enter the first and last name of the volunteer in the appropriate fields.
These two values are required.
- Enter any other desired information in the fields provided.
- If this volunteer should also have a user account created, then make sure
the 'Should the volunteer have a user account?' question is checked.
Uncheck it if a user account should NOT be created.
- Click 'Next'.
Note: If a user account is not going to be created and detailed
volunteer information is not required, 'Finish' may be pressed at this point
to complete the volunteer creation.
- On the next page, enter details about the volunteer as desired. All fields
are optional.
Note: Volunteer Status is defaulted to the Active state.
- If 'create user account' was checked then click 'Next'. Otherwise press
'Finish'.
- If creating a user account then enter the login name for this user.
- Select the role for this user.
- Enter the password and confirm the password in the next two fields.
- Press 'Finish'.
- The Wizard will close and the new volunteer will appear in the Volunteer List view.
